General

Utilo provides utility tools for free, without warranty of any kind. They are built with care and tested against common inputs, but they may have bugs, may behave unexpectedly on edge cases, and may change at any time. Treat their output as a convenient draft, not as an authoritative answer.

Security and cryptography tools

The Password Generator, Hash Generator, JWT Decoder, and similar security-related tools use your browser's built-in cryptographic primitives (crypto.getRandomValues, SubtleCrypto.digest) and standard JavaScript libraries. They are designed to follow the relevant specs, but:

• Do not rely on a single tool's output as the only safeguard for high-value secrets. Generate, then verify in a second place.
• A "strong" password rating reflects entropy in bits, not real-world resistance to phishing or credential stuffing. Use a password manager and 2FA.
• Hash and signature verification depend on you supplying the correct algorithm, key, and inputs. Garbage in, confidently-wrong out.

Financial, legal, medical

Nothing on Utilo is financial, legal, accounting, tax, or medical advice. The calculators are arithmetic helpers; they do not know your circumstances. Consult a qualified professional before acting on any number this site produces.

Third-party libraries

Some tools rely on open-source libraries (pdf-lib, marked, DOMPurify, jsdiff, qrcode, js-md5, and others). We pin specific versions and update them when bug fixes ship, but we do not audit every change. If a future library version introduces a regression, we'll address it as quickly as we can.

Availability

The site is hosted on Vercel and aims for high uptime, but we cannot promise it will always be reachable, fast, or feature- complete. If a tool you need is offline, the static export is designed so you can also clone the source and run it locally.
