Make your Instagram bio keep its line breaks and spacing. Instagram strips blank lines and leading spaces the moment you save — this tool swaps them for invisible characters that survive, so your carefully spaced bio looks exactly how you typed it. Just type, copy, and paste.

What the formatter changes
Invisible tweaks that defeat Instagram's trimming.
| You typed | What Instagram normally does | With this tool |
|---|---|---|
| A blank line between sections | Removes the blank line | Keeps the gap |
| Indented text | Strips the leading spaces | Keeps the indent |
Tips for a clean bio
- Mind the 150-character limit. The invisible spacing characters count toward it — the live counter shows where you stand.
- Paste, don't retype. If you retype the bio in Instagram, the invisible characters are lost and the spacing collapses again.
- Keep it scannable. A blank line between two short lines reads far better than one long run-on sentence.
Frequently asked
Why does Instagram remove my line breaks?
Instagram's bio field collapses empty lines and trims leading spaces when you save. This tool fills blank lines with an invisible character and converts leading spaces to non-breaking spaces, so the spacing survives.
How do I use the formatted bio?
Type your bio with the breaks and spacing you want, copy the formatted version, then paste it into the Bio field in Edit Profile. Paste it as-is — don't retype it, or you'll lose the invisible characters.
Does this work in captions and other apps?
The same trick helps in captions and in other apps that trim whitespace, like some bio fields on TikTok and Twitter/X. Always preview before posting, since platforms differ.
